Giving Tuesday
GivingTuesday was a joyful success this year! The generosity throughout the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas will be transforming communities in the years to come.
This year's leaderboard reports online gifts totaling $104,147.98, with 362 donors making gifts to 38 participating parishes, schools, and ministries.
There will be many impactful projects initiated throughout the Archdioceses of Kansas City in Kansas. Thank you to all of those who were able to donate this GivingTuesday!
Deo Gratias
Last month, the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas hosted our annual Deo Gratias celebration, where we were honored to recognize this year's distinguished organization: Most Pure Heart of Mary Church and School (pictured left) and distinguished family: John and Claudia Caton (pictured right). Congratulations to this year's honorees. Thank you for all you do to support the Catholic Foundation, and the Catholic community in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas!
New Donor Advised Fund!
Shown here are Matt Miller, President of the Miller Group, Terri Lynn, CFNEK Gift Planning Consultant and Matt's sons, Ryan and Christopher. The Miller Charitable Foundation is the newest Donor Advised Fund at the Catholic Foundation.
Advent Angels 2023
This year's Advent Angel gift exchange amongst Chancery staff was filled with many secrets, surprises, gifts, and lots of holiday cheer! Each season during Advent, Chancery staff is welcome to participate in Advent Angels, where names are drawn at random and gifts are delivered by your "Angel" anonymously. During the last week of Advent, a final gift is opened and the identity of each Advent Angel is revealed.
Thank you to the Chancery Ambassadors of Joy for coordinating, and to the staff who participated!

All grant recommendations for 2023 distribution must be submitted by the end of the business day. Any recommendations submitted after this date will be processed in 2024.

Stock gifts must be received by Country Club Trust Company by 2:00 PM.

Remember that contributions made by check to the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas must be dated and postmarked by USPS no later than this date.

Please note that our offices will be closed from noon on December 22 through January 1 for the Holidays. We will return Tuesday, January 2, 2023.
