We have organized another strong, Catholic-centered program with a great speaker lineup for the 13th annual St. Thomas More Continuing Education Program. Our CE Program is a great opportunity to network in person, obtain continuing education credit, and support the Catholic professional community.

Registration is now open for this year's event. There are also sponsorship opportunities available. Visit https://www.cfnek.org/events/thomas-more to learn more, and remember to share these Continuing Education Program marketing materials with your colleagues and friends.

The Catholic Fine Arts Council is excited to host the 9th Annual Archbishop's Invitational High School Art Exhibit Awards Reception and Exhibit! This year's theme, "Eucharist, May We Never Lose Our Wonder" invites students to meditate upon the miracle of the Eucharist, and depict their own personal encounter with Christ in the Eucharist through expression of their artistic talents.

The public exhibition will run from March 3 - April 30 at Savior Pastoral Center in the Art Hallway. Don’t miss your opportunity to check out some amazing art pieces created by high school students in our Archdiocese!

Board Member Spotlight

SCOTT KINCAID

  • Joined the CFNEK Board in 2020

  • CFNEK Marketing Committee and Board Development Chair

  • Home Parish: Sacred Heart- Shawnee

When asked why the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas is important to him, here is what Scott said:

“Serving as a board member for the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas has been a great experience. CFNEK is more than just financial stewards of donor advised funds, grants, or monetary gifts made to benefit our local archdiocese. More importantly, CFNEK is here to support our local parishes through a multitude of strategies that benefit that specific parish. For example, CFNEK has successfully granted funds that support programs like Communio or weekly collection marketing initiatives that have had massive success evangelizing and increasing the financial strength of the participating parish. I strongly believe through the current generational wealth transfer and vocational transition of the ‘baby boomers,’ CFNEK has the opportunity to 10x our managed funds and make a positive impact, bringing more Catholics to greater holiness. For those reasons, I am excited about the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas, and find our mission of great importance!”
