Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas Chief Financial Officer, Carla Mills, was named a 2022 CFO of the Year by the Kansas City Business Journal.  The 16 honorees represent the best in financial management and have proven themselves invaluable to their companies and organizations.  Carla Mills sits on the Board of Directors of the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas as an Ex Officio member.

A panel of independent judges selected the CFO of the Year honorees.  To be considered, candidates had to be a chief financial officer or hold an equivalent position in their company or organization.  Each had to live in and work in the Kansas City metro area.  Winners were chosen from both for-profit and nonprofit companies.

The winners were honored at an awards event on July 22, 2022 at the Loews Kansas City Hotel.  Congratulations Carla!

There is still time to attend his year's, The Master's Cup on August 1, 2022 at Leawood's Ironhorse Golf Club.  The proceeds from this event benefit the Heart to Heart Scholarship Fund, through the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas, which helps ease the financial burdens that come with being a college seminarian, as well as for women and men entering religious life in the archdiocese.

Guest speakers this year will be the Father-Son Duo & Former Kansas State Football players Stan and Landry Weber. They will speak of their father and son relationship, living their Catholic faith and Landry's call to discern a vocation to the priesthood.

A video message from Fr. Dan Morris, Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, invites you to come and share in the Master's joy.

There are several sponsorship levels to choose from and all the details can be found on the website: https://www.jocoserra.org/The-Masters-Cup

We hope you can join us for this free event. Your RSVP is greatly appreciated.
