Charitable Giving Strategies
A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a tax-free transfer of money from an IRA to a qualified charity. QCDs can help IRA owners reduce their taxable income, avoid higher tax brackets, and meet their required minimum distributions. Click here to watch a short informative video. Wills and Trusts Workshop
The Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas hosted a Wills and Trusts Workshop at St. Teresa of Avila in Westphalia, Kansas. The afternoon started with a delicious lunch and fellowship followed by a Wills and Trusts presentation presented by Thomas F. Robrahn, Attorney at Law from Robrahn Law Office. We are grateful to Fr. Haganey for the invitation to host this educational workshop and thankful to Thomas Robrahn for his insightful words. Giving Tuesday 2024 Results
THANK YOU to all of those who were able to donate this Giving Tuesday! This year's leaderboard reports gifts totaling $98,348, with 402 donors making gifts to 24 participating parishes, schools, and ministries. There will be many impactful projects initiated throughout the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, and your generosity will transform our communities in the years to come. We are so grateful!
